If you're a fiddle/fretboard fan head to Park Slope for an evening with Della Mae, at The Rock Shop, 249 4th Ave. in Park Slope.  


Wednesday


Folk fans should head to The Way Station for Bryan Cahall as well as Glaser Drive + Kelli Scarr Singer-songwriter Bryan Cahall will play folk music. If you like Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez, Utah Phillips, you’ll like Cahall! 


Thursday
 

Head on over to the Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG92 for Film Screening: Meathooked!, a documentary about meat and the rise and fall and rise again of butchers and butchering in and around NYC. The film features local butchers and their different experiences in a dynamic industry where economic issues, environmental concerns and cultural heritage all play a part in how, why and when we consume meat. 


Friday


Get out of your Friday evening rut with An n' Pale Cafe Conversation with Chef Elle Philippe, for a discussion with Chef Elle Philippe on her integration of traditional Haitian cuisine and modern flavors and the important links between culture and food. Event will be followed by refreshments made by Chef Elle. 6-9pm. Discussion will begin at 7pm.
