5 Things: L Train Resumes, No Alt Side and Crown Heights Film Fest's Final Weekend

What you need to know to get you through the day, post-Sandy.

 

1.  L Train service to Manhattan is back. All train service has now been restored excpept A trains in the Rockaways and N trains near Coney Island in Brooklyn.

2. Although the gas shortage seems to be improving, odd/even gas rationing is now in effect across the city. The system should shorten lines even further.

3. The Crown Heights Film Festival ends this weekend, so if you've been meaning to go, now's the time. Tonight there are several short films followed the romantic comedy "A Big Love Story." Saturday beginning at 1 p.m., the winning five films will be shown, followed by an awards ceremony.
