1. Rock out with Rockability. Check out Rockabilly Night at Branded Saloon with Ready Teddy Young, Raw Dogs, & Hudson Hornets! The first official Rockabilly Night at The Branded Saloon brings 1950's influenced live music to Brooklyn! Ready Teddy Young is described as Buddy Holly re-incarnated and plays originals and Buddy Holly covers.

2. Celebrate the season. Join Urban Shaman Donna Henes, NYC's "Unnofficial Commissioner of Public Spirit" at a May Day Celebration: Tending The Tree of Life . Please wear white and bring kids, drums, seeds and lots of spirit. For info and reservations please contact: (718) 857-1343.

3. Help Sunny’s. Don’t miss the MayDay Party for Sunny's tonight at The Bell House. This tribute party, which will feature the Red Hook Ramblers, John Pinamonti, Li'l Mo & the Monicats, Kings County Blues Band, will help raise funds to re-open Sunny's bar in Red Hook, which was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.

4. Laugh out loud. Head to LaunchPad for Best Friends' Thread, an Improv Comedy Showcase. 721 Franklin Ave., 8 p.m.

5. Move your car. Alternate side parking rules are in effect today, but are suspended Thursday and Friday
