, 80 Lafayette Ave. at S. Portland Avenue. (718) 797-9536
This bar is your best bet when it comes to sports in Fort Greene. Eight TVs will display Mark Sanchez in all of his maddening glory. The projection TV in the back is so big that you’ll feel like you can literally reach out and touch Rex Ryan’s wattle. There aren’t any specials going down at Mullane's during the games, but the place has a full menu of bar food. The manager, Todd Sample, says you better get there early. “We’re full to capacity by halftime, we have to turn people away!” he said.
Moe’s, 660 Fulton St. between Fort Greene and S. Elliot places, (718) 625-9339
If huge crowds aren’t your thing but cheap drinks are, then try Moe’s, which is right down the road from Mullane’s. The bar will have one projection screen set up, and a killer happy hour will go until 7:30 p.m. Here are the bargains: two for one draft beers, $6 frozen margaritas and $1 off of well drinks. Not bad at all. But look out for those Bears and Packers fans at around 6 p.m., they’re going to be pretty rowdy by then considering those deals.
