Monday, March 26 

Preschool Stories and Craft Hear a story and make a craft for ages 3 to 6. . 10 Grand Army Plaza. 4-5 p.m. Free.

 Each week Annie Nieves will lead the group in an art project that promotes creativity and experimentation. The class also includes some independent play and concludes with music and a sing-a-long. Sea Lion Feeding This daily event features the Prospect Park Zoo sea lions showing off their dives, catching fish mid-air and other tricks. , 450 Flatbush Avenue, 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., Free with zoo admission of $8 adults, $5 kids 3-12.

Storytime with Charu Join Charu and her crew of readers as they read from your favorite stories. If your child have a favorite book, bring it along and they'll be happy to include it. , 151 Atlantic Ave (at Clinton St), 10 a.m., all ages, Free.

Greenlight Kids Story Time This week, Greenlight staff shares some of its favorite books about friendship We'll read You Will Be My Friend! by Peter Brown, I Am Going! by Mo Willems and other "friend-ly" stories. , 686 Fulton St (at S Portland St), 11 a.m., ages 3-8, Free.

 Take a spin on Prospect Park's Carousel for the first time this spring! After April 1 the Carousel is open Thursdays – Sundays and school holidays, 12 to 5 p.m. $2 per ride; $9 for a book of five tickets. Enter Prospect Park at the Willink entrance, located at Ocean and Flatbush Avenues and Empire Boulevard.

There are more than 250 species of birds in Prospect Park. See some of them at this weekly event that is engaging for both older children and adults. The Audubon Center at the Boathouse (just inside the Lincoln Road/Ocean Ave. entrance to Prospect Park), 12-1:30 p.m., Free.

Lefferts House Events Today this historic house is hosting Second Floor Tours (1-3:30 on the half hour) and Handiwork: Tasks and Crafts from the Past (2:30-3:30 p.m.). Lefferts Historic House at Prospect Park (Use entrance at Flatbush and Ocean Avenues), Free.

 Make all-natural and recycled crafts with a new project each week. The Audubon Center at the Boathouse (just inside the Lincoln Road/Ocean Ave. entrance to Prospect Park). 1-3 p.m., all ages, Free.

Nature's Helpers Families can take a tour of the Park and its waterways and help keep it clean along the way. Gloves, garbage bags and trash grabbers will be provided. The Audubon Center at the Boathouse (just inside the Lincoln Road/Ocean Ave. entrance to Prospect Park). 2-3 p.m. Free.

 This group performs the story of Fish Face, a book in Patricia Reilly Giff's Kids of the Polk Street Schoolseries, as a musical: Emily does plenty of things well when she has her good luck charm, but then the new girl steals it! , 10 Grand Army Plaza. 1 p.m. Free.

Transit Museum: The Art of the Poster Colorful posters in London and New York subway stations bring our journeys to life. In connection with the exhibit, The Art of the Poster, we’ll color and collage our own designs of people and places inspired by our travels in NYC! For ages 5+ New York Transit Museum, Corner of Boerum Pl & Schermerhorn St, 1:30 p.m., Free with museum admission (adults $7, kids 2-17 and seniors $5).

Sunday, April 1 

 The Museum’s collections will inspire kids to imagine and create new worlds while exploring color and other elements of art in this ninety-minute class. , 200 Eastern Parkway, 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Ages 4-7, $10 plus museum admission of $12 adults, $8 seniors and students, children under 12, free.
