Monday, April 30 

 Each week Annie Nieves will lead the group in an art project that promotes creativity and experimentation. The class also includes some independent play and concludes with music and a sing-a-long. Sea Lion Feeding This daily event features the Prospect Park Zoo sea lions showing off their dives, catching fish mid-air and other tricks. , 450 Flatbush Avenue, 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., Free with zoo admission of $8 adults, $5 kids 3-12.

 This class, for parents/caregivers and their babies includes stretching, strengthening and the learning of rhythm and movement patterns. , 348 Saint Marks Ave, 4 p.m., $15.

 Help clean up and beautify the berms in Grand Army Plaza. Kids with parents welcome. Meet at Plaza Street East and Vanderbilt Avenue, 10 a.m., free. 

Greenlight Kids Story Time New York-based author Rachel Vail presents a tale of following your dreams with her new picture book Piggy Bunny! , 686 Fulton St. (at S Portland St), 11 a.m., ages 3-8, Free.

Sigma Storytime Volunteers from the Brooklyn Alumni Chapter of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity read stories for children ages 3 to 8 years the first Saturday of the month.  , 10 Grand Army Plaza, 12-1 p.m. Free.

 When Baker Bobbie receives an intriguing package from India for her birthday, a trio of native Indian musicians help her reveal the mystery of what's inside. , 10 Grand Army Plaza, 1 p.m. Free.

Lefferts House Events Today this historic house is hosting Second Floor Tours (1-4:30 on the half hour) and Sow & Sew Flax Weekend, where kids can plant flax, see it spun into linen and sew a linen pouch (1-4 p.m.). Lefferts Historic House at Prospect Park (Use entrance at Empire Boulevard and Flatbush and Ocean Avenues), Free.

 Make all-natural and recycled crafts with a new project each week. The Audubon Center at the Boathouse (just inside the Lincoln Road/Ocean Ave. entrance to Prospect Park). 1-2 p.m., all ages, Free.

Transit Museum: Transportation Inventions In Amos Vogel’s beloved book, "How Little Lori Visited Times Square," a young boy attempts a journey to Times Square by train, bus, taxi and turtle! Help Lori get to his destination by designing a vehicle of the future. For ages 6+. New York Transit Museum, Corner of Boerum Pl & Schermerhorn St, 1:30 p.m., Free with museum admission (adults $7, kids 2-17 and seniors $5).
