It was 50 years ago on this day, Aug. 28, 1963, that Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech.

MLK’s speech is celebrated as an impetus for change and racial equality throughout the country, and here in NYC his name and image is honored throughout.
