Recycle Your Old Electronics in the Park

Don't let that crummy old VCR end up in a landfill.

Has that old Dell you've had since college had enough? Is there an Apple IIe somewhere in the closet that you're just not sure what to do with? Recycle them! (Actually maybe hang on to the IIe, that's a collector's item).

All your unwanted electronics can magically disappear from your coat closets, storage units and car trunks this weekend in Prospect Park, thanks to Upcycle Fest.

The event, which will be held Sunday, Oct. 27 and Monday, Oct. 28, will allow you to unload old electronics without adding clutter to landfills.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, at a handful of locations around the park.

For more info, check out the listing for the event here.
