Police Blotter: Pair of Shootings

Two shootings have taken place in the last 24 hours within the confines of the 77th Precinct

The following information was provided by the 77th Precinct of the NYPD. It does not indicate a conviction.

First Shooting

On September 27 at 4:30pm, a 41-year-old female was shot once in the left thigh on Albany Ave., between Prospect Pl. and Park Pl. She was uncooperative with the detectives, but was transported to Kings County Hospital and remains in stable conditions. The victim claims she does not know where the shots originated from or who shot her. There are no motives for the shooting at this time.

Second Shooting

On September 28 at 12:03am, a 40-year-old man was shot once in the left torso while in his car on Bergen St., between Brooklyn Ave. and Kingston Ave. The victim claimed that he heard shots, put his car in reverse and sideswipped three cars before realizing he was shot. He hailed a cab to Interfaith Hospital and remains in critical condition. There are no motives for the shooting at this time.
