Grand Army Plaza was a foodie's dream yesterday afternoon as the monthly "Food Truck Rally" hit Prospect Park.
Taking place on the third Sunday of every month through October, more than 15 vendors including The Red Hook Lobster Pound, Rickshaw Dumpling Truck and Vanleeuwen Ice Cream offered delicious treats for those in attendance.
The edible delicacies ranging from lemon edamame dumplings to Maine lobster rolls were also easy on the wallet, with most items priced at less than $10. It's perhaps not surprising that well before the 5:00pm closing time, many of the trucks were completely sold out of all items.
