Philip, Sahara and Flex

The two kittens are brother and sister.

We here at Prospect Heights Patch are animal lovers. That's why we've teamed up with to feature one dog and one cat that need a loving home each week. If you think you would like to adopt either pet, call 718-436-5163 or stop by Sean Casey Animal Rescue, located at 153 East 3rd Street between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue.

This Week our "adopt a pet" features Philip and Sahara, a brother and a sister in need of a home, and Flex, a 4-year-old German Shephered mix.

Philip and Sahara are 4-month-old kittens that, according to Charles Henderson, Director of Operations at Sean Casey, are "very playful and jovial."

Henderson said that he hopes someone will adopt both of them, as they often play and sleep together.

They are both spayed or neutered, respectively, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas and ticks, and up-to-date on all of their vaccinations. Included with their $100 adoption fee is a free veterinary exam at Sean Casey, one free month of pet health insurance and a microchip encoded with information that will help you find Philip and Sahara if either ever gets lost.
