Nominate a "Whiz Kid"

Every week, we'll spotlight a local child or teen who has done something special, but we need you to tell us whom.

Know a great kid who won an award? Did a local sports team advance to the finals? Do you know a child who can memorize entire pages at a glance, bake elaborate meals from scratch, help out an elderly neighbor or volunteer at a soup kitchen?

We want to showcase them!

Each week, Prospect Heights Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments or good deeds. Kids and teens through senior year of high school (or up through 17 if they left high school early) are eligible.
