Looking Back: One Year Ago Today

A slideshow reminds us of the winterland that was from the 2010 blizzard

It's 46 degrees and cloudy today. But this time a year ago, one was hard-pressed to keep fingers from becoming frostbitten.

After being hit by , Prospect Heights, along with the rest of New York City, was buried under two feet of snow. Residents found themselves wielding shovels, salting sidewalks, stomping around in boots, and searching for cars that had become trapped inside snowdrifts.

The city is of that blizzard. But in the midst of all the mayhem, there were also a few light-hearted snowball fights too.
