J. Cole's "Work Out" Music Video: Spot the Prospect Heights Location
Music video for Billboard charting single partially filmed in the neighborhood
There are plenty of music videos that have been either filmed in Brooklyn or made by Brooklyn artists over the years, but Prospect Heights has been lacking in that department when compared with other neighborhoods like Williamsburg or Bed-Stuy.
Enter J. Cole. The Jay-Z protege filmed scenes earlier this year in Prospect Heights for the music video for his single, "Work Out." The song, which samples "The New Workout Plan" by Kanye West and "Straight Up" by Paula Abdul, has peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard rap songs chart.
