Frank and Francine

Frank is a 5-month old pit bull. Francine is a 2-month-old domestic shorthair kitten.

We here at Prospect Heights Patch are animal lovers. That's why we've teamed up with to feature one dog and one cat that need a loving home each week. This week our "" column features Frank, a 5-month-old male pit bull, and Francine, a 2-month-old female kitten.

Frank is recovering after being struck by a car. According to Charles Henderson, Director of Operations at Sean Casey, Frank's a "happy go-lucky" dog, and is very sweet.

Frank is neutered, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas and ticks, and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. Included with his $200 adoption fee is a free veterinary exam at Sean Casey, one free month of pet health insurance and a microchip encoded with information that will help you find Frank if he ever gets lost.

Charles says Francine is "warm, loving and friendly." She's a little bit playful, and will make an excellent companion for someone looking to adopt a kitten.
