Have a tree bed you’ve lovingly spruced up? Or are you thinking of doing so?
If so, enter it in the first-ever Million Tree NYC Beautiful Tree Bed Contest by August 3.
The winner in each category gets a Home Depot gift card (of unspecified value) plus a plaque for their tree bed that says the category they’ve won, and some (unspecified) MillionTreesNYC merchandise. The winners will also be recognized at a ceremony in Central Park.
To enter, upload a photo of your gorgeous mini-garden to the contest Facebook page and then get everyone you know to vote for it every day until the contest closes.
Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:
- Most Beautiful Tree Bed in NYC
- Most Beautiful Tree Bed in Brooklyn (there are also categories for the other four boroughs)
- Best Use of Color
- Most Creative ( anyone …)
- Best Group Work (, perhaps)
