5 Things You Need to Know: Poker, Volunteering and More
What you need to know to start your Wednesday off right
1. You need to play poker. The Branded Saloon (603 Vanderbilt Ave.) is holding a Charity Poker Tournament from 7:45pm-12:00am. Proceeds benefit local charities like the Prospect Park Alliance and the WillieMae Rock Camp for Girls.
2. You need to volunteer. Looking to make a difference? Head to Litchfield Villa (95 Prospect Park W.) from 6:30-7:30 and learn more about the in Prospect Park including woodland restoration and visitor outreach.
3. You need to watch a movie. Check out BAM (30 Lafayette Ave). and their ongoing of a decade of films from Magnolia Pictures. Read My Lips, a french film with english subtitles, will be shown at 4:30, 6:50 and 9:15pm.

4. You need to take the kids somewhere. Bring them to the Brooklyn Children's Museum for their weekly, full of hands-on activities for kids ages five and under.
