5 Things: Police Community Meeting, No Alt Side and Voter Registration Deadline

Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

 

1. You need to discuss area crime with the police. Tonight is the monthly meeting of the  where you'll get the chance to discuss crime in Prospect and Crown Heights with the head of the 77th Precinct. Duryea Presbyterian Church, 362 Sterling Place at Underhill. 7:30 p.m. 

2. You need to register to vote. If you want to vote in November, Friday is the deadline to register.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house.Today at Dean Street there is Little BIG Arts & Crafts. 10:30 a.m. 755 Dean St. at Underhill. $10 per child, $5 siblings.

4. You need to know if your train is running ... It is! There are no planned service changes affecting Prospect Heights stations all week, according to the MTA.

5. ... and if you have to move your car. You don't! Alternate side is suspended Mon-Tues Oct 8-9 for Columbus Day and Simchas Torah, according to the NYCDOT.
