5 Things: Last-minute Reservations, Free Yoga, The Nutcracker, More

Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

1. You need to find the most last-minute of last-minute dinner plans. As of last night, these two fancypants restaurants were still accepting reservations for Christmas Eve. 570 Vanderbilt Ave. between Dean and Pacific St. Four-course family-style chicken dinner. $35 per person (minimum two people). 605 Carlton Ave. at St. Marks. Three courses plus sides. $65 per person.

2. You need to work off some of those cookie-swap calories. The words “Lululemon” and “free” are rarely, if ever, uttered in the same sentence. So when the Gucci of sportswear stores offers , there is only one option—you go. Lululemon Showroom 472 Bergen St. 11:00 a.m. Free.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Watch your children’s eyes light up as they take in  performed by the renowned American Ballet Theatre company right at BAM. Plus, it's performed with a live orchestra and sets and costumes are by Tony Award-winner Richard Hudson, who did The Lion King. BAM, 30 Lafayette Ave. 2 p.m. Tickets run from $25-$120. Call ahead to reserve.

4. You need to know if your train is running ... Between 11:50 p.m. and 5 a.m. weeknights through Dec. 30trains are running every 30 minutes between Atlantic Avenue and Stillwell Avenue. Brooklyn-bound trains will drop you at Pacific and you will have to walk to Atlantic and wait for the next leg (the reverse Manhattan-bound), according to the MTA. Bring a book, the wait can be pretty long.  

5. ... And if you have to move your car. Alternate side is suspended Dec. 25-26 for Christmas, according to the NYCDOT.
