4. You need to know if your train is running ...  You're fine during the day, but late-night track work continues on the Q line and from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, Brooklyn bound Q trains will drop you at the Pacific Street N platform. From there you walk over to the Q platform on the Atlantic side, where you wait a really long time (often) and get the connecting Q for the rest of the trip, according to the MTA. (For Manhattn bound trains it's the reverse.) You're probably better off switching to the 2/3 instead.
