1. You need a good story. Head to  for its monthly . 8pm–10pm. 234 Underhill Ave. at Lincoln Place. Free.

2. You need a night out. Tonight you can go to  for , their weekly big-band series. Tonight it's the Yaozeki Big Band. 837 Union St. at Seventh Avenue. 9pm–11pm.

3. You need yoga. Today is your day, because at  there's  all day where you pay-what-you-can. 721 Franklin Ave. at Park Place.

5. You need to know if your train is running, and if you have to move your car. There are no service changes affecting Prospect Heights today, according to the MTA. As for moving your car, alternate side is not suspended again until the Feast of the Assumption on Monday, August 15, according to the NYC DOT.
