5 Things: Ballet, Trivia, Shmoozing and 'Innovation'

Prospect Heights-area information you won't want to miss.

  2. You need “African Innovation.” Part of the events, the film An Oversimplification of Her Beauty will be screened. Walk through the gallery tour "African Innovation" beforehand and stick around afterwards for a performance by the director’s band. 200 Eastern Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11238, 7pm, free with museum admission.
  3. You need to shmooze. This hosted by Chabad of Prospect Heights teaches the songs of famous Jewish composer Dovid Hamelach followed by refreshments and shmoozing. 569 Vanderbilt Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238, 7:30pm, free.
