Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Pre-school events are back at the  this week so head to Toddler Storyplay for kids 18-36 months. at  10:15 or 11 a.m. Free. See our  for more options. 

4. You need to know if your train is running ...  At night, not too well. As part of the "repairs are no 2 or 3 trains between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. all week, but the 4 train will run locally and serve Prospect Heights stations. Plus, between 11:45 and 5 a.m., the Q train will be doing that great thing where it drops you at Pacific, where you then drag over to Atlantic and wait for the next leg of the trip, according to the MTA.

5. ... And if you have to move your car. You don't! Alternate side will be suspended on Monday, Feb. 13, for Lincoln's Birthday, according to the NYCDOT.
