Applications for TEDYouth 2012, TED’s only event for high school students, are now open to New York City students.
The day-long event will take place on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Times Center in Manhattan, from 1-6pm. Attendance is free for 400 high school students, and more than 20 scientists, designers, technologists, explorers, artists and performers will share short lessons on what they do best. High school students can apply now through October 15 here: http://www.ted.com/pages/tedyouth.
TEDYouth coincides with more than 100 self-organized TEDxYouthDay events happening worldwide over a 48-hour period.
