So many of you harbor incredible talents and skills that may just need a place to shine! After having kids, many of us have put our creative talents on hold but are looking for small ways to get back to doing what we love- whether it be art, music, teaching- or all of the above. Perhaps you’re not ready to go back to work full time, but you can commit to teaching once a week in the neighborhood. Or perhaps you have a one-off special workshop that you’d like to offer? Here’s your chance!
We have a great space at LARK that can be used to offer classes of all kinds. Our space has been popular hosting sing alongs, story times, musical theatre, a fiction writing class and new parent meet ups. With the cold weather descending upon us, parents will be keen to find indoor activities for kids (and themselves) during the colder months.
We’re in the midst of creating our weekly Winter class schedule starting in January 2013 so if you’ve always wanted to teach that block printing class, or stationary workshop, or lead a book club- now is your chance. Maybe you want to lead a weekly animated LARK story time (with puppets? YES!). We’re open to hearing your creative ideas and if you can fill a class, we’ll be happy to host you.
If you are interested in offering classes at LARK, please get in touch. And please pass on to others in your circles who may be interested in using our space to share their creative talents.
