According to Brooklyn Public Library's official website, all overdue fines will be waived from April 1-30.
Overdue fines can be waived at the customer service desk of your local library. All overdue materials owned by Brooklyn Public Library must be returned in order for the fines to be waived.
Brooklyn Public Library recommends that patrons clear their overdue fees this month. As of May 1, patrons owing over $25 in fines will receive a notice from a collection agency.
