A Photography Workshop, Reading Series and Trivia Tuesday

Good morning, Prospect Heights! It’s supposed to thunderstorm today with a high of 74 degrees.
Here’s what’s happening today:
- A photography workshop at the Milk and Honey café will focus on general tips about composition, camera settings and a word or two about post-production tweaks. Bring your kids and your camera and take your photography to the next level. Milk and Honey Café, 1119 Newkirk Ave., 10 a.m.
- Check out some illustrious local writers, fiction and poetry writers at LaunchPad’s Phoenix Reading Series and Open Mic. LaunchPad, 721 Franklin Ave., 7 p.m. $6 suggested donation.
- Trivia Tuesday at St. Catherine’s features five rounds of “brain-tingling” and “funny-bone-tickling” questions. 10 points in each round. Plus, two special free drink questions throughout the night and a $50 grand prize bar tab. St. Catherine’s, 660 Washington Ave., 8 p.m.
- Move the car. Alternate side parking regulations are in effect.
