More Details on Oyster Bar Coming to Franklin Avenue

The seasonal restaurant and raw bar replacing Franklin Roadhouse will be called Mayfair and is slated to open in the Fall.

The “American casual” restaurant with focus on seasonal food that will take over the space formerly occupied by the short-lived Franklin Roadhouse will be called Mayfield, I Love Franklin Avenue confirms.

The restaurant, , will focus on a raw oyster bar and fresh produce, and will have a full sit-down bar with wine, beer and liquor, says ILFA.

The blog checked out the interior, and reports that it looks , which had exposed brick and furniture salvaged from bowling alleys and church pews. Happily for outdoor dining fans, the backyard will remain, with some new foliage, says ILFA.

According to I Love Franklin Avenue, the restaurant’s team hopes to open by the end of the year.
