Last Chance: Bluebells at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

If you want to see the Bluebell wood in full glory, head over to the garden this weekend.

Update, 6:06 p.m. May 3: We've been informed by the garden's Kate Blumm that the peonies are "already on their way out," alas. Instead, the Bluebell wood is the prime attraction this weekend. The post has been updated to reflect this.

People from all over the tri-state area flock to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens for its cherry blossoms. But there are just as striking arrays of blooms other times of the year.

Right now, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Bluebell wood the prime attaction, so if you are hoping to see them, get to the garden this weekend if possible.

The azaleas are also at full bloom and the lilacs and roses are beginning to make a nice showing.
