Franny's Honored Amongst Best Brooklyn Pizzas

Franny's, on Flatbush Avenue, was recently named 8th best pizzeria in New York City, according to Zagat.

, on Flatbush Avenue and Prospect Place, took one of the top spots for best pizza in the newest Zagat New York City Restaurants guide.

The annual survey and ratings guide honored four other pizza spots in Brooklyn, according to the Daily News. Totonno’s in Coney Island was awarded first prize, with Lucali in Carroll Gardens taking second place, Di Fara in Midwood at third and Roberta's in Bushwick at fifth. Franny's took the number eight spot.

Franny’s, opened by Francine Stephens and Andrew Feinberg, sources mostly local and organic ingredients. Their pizza menu ranges from simple (olive oil and sea salt), to extravagant (prosciutto cotto, caciocavallo, onions and marinated peppers). Pies range from $8-17.
