Delores Gillespie’s Cat Left Homeless

The Maine Coon-mix cat is in need of a home after owner's brutal murder last month.

Delores Gillespie, the Prospect Heights woman who was burned alive in the elevator of her Underhill Avenue apartment last month, has left behind a homeless cat, according to a post on Brooklynian.

Gillespie’s gray Maine Coon-mix cat, Bubu, is described in flyers that were posted around the neighborhood as “affectionate, pretty as a flower, soft as a cloud and sweet as sugar.”

The woman who is currently taking care of the cat until a permanent home can be found for Bubu can be reached at woofwoofsharon@gmail.com.
