At Least 7 Rapes in Prospect- and Crown Heights This Spring

More rapes in June in the 77th Precinct than in any other area of the city, the Brooklyn Papers Report.

Prospect- and Crown Heights had more rapes last month than any other area of the city.

In an 11-day period, at least six women reported being raped in the 77th Precinct--more than in any other police precinct and three times as many as in June of last year, according to a report in The Brooklyn Paper.

Of the six reported incidents, two were stranger rapes. In one, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old attacked a woman on Pacific Street. In another, the alleged rape was done by a cab driver.
