5 Things: Radiolab Live at BAM and The Rose West at Way Station

Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

 

1. You need Radiolab! If you're a fan of the show (and who isn't), there's a chance to see at BAM on Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Hosts Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich, along with comedian Demetri Martin and singer-songwriter Thao Nguyen, will explore the evolution of the eye in an evening that includes storytelling, music, stand-up comedy, and dance. June 26 and 27, BAM, 30 Lafayette Ave., 8 p.m., $35.

2. You need rock. Head to  to see  with guests the Wandering Cellist and Haus Delgato. 683 Washington Ave. bet. St. Marks and Park, 9 p.m. Free.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Head to Fort Greene for Greenlight Baby Story Time. Today Jon Samson, "musical therapist and professional goofball," will entertain kids 0-3 with his guitar and bag of musical tricks. , 686 Fulton St (at S. 4. You need to know if your train is running ... It is!! There are no planned subway service changes affecting Prospect Heights all weekend, according to the MTA.

5. ... and if you have to move your car. Not today, of course, but try to grab a Tues/Thurs spot because alternate side parking rules won't be suspended again be until Wednesday, July 4, according to the NYCDOT
