5 Things: No Q Train All Weekend, Olive Juice at Way Station, Kokayi at BAM, More

Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

1. You need music, different music. Head to The Way Station to hear the unique ukulele and upright bass sound of Olive Juice, followed by traditional and contemporary world music from the Mike Block Trio. 8 p.m. 683 Washington Ave. bet. Prospect and St. Marks. No cover.

2. You need Electro/Hip Hop/Punk. Head to BAM for BAMCafe Live presents: Kokayi. 30 Lafayette Ave. Show starts at 9, but get there early for a good seat. Bar opens at 6. No cover.

3. You need to get the kids out of the house. Not a lot going on in Prospect Heights today, but there's Preschool Storytime at the Pacific Library (25 4th Ave. at Pacific St.) from 10:45-11:30 a.m. or a Sing-Along with Lloyd at Play Kids, 676 Flatbush Ave., bet. Hawthorne and Winthrop. 10 a.m., $5/family. See our weekly kids calendar for more options.

4. You need to know if your train is running ... No changes today, but all weekend there  are no Q trains north of Prospect Park. You can catch a shuttle bus at Seventh Avenue to Atlantic (to get the N/R into the city) or to Prospect Park. In addition, there are no No. 3 trains south of 34th Street. No. 2 and 4 trains will provide alternate service, according to the MTA.

5. ... And if you have to move your car. Sorry, you do. Alternate side won't be suspended again until Monday, Feb. 13 for Lincoln's Birthday, according to the NYCDOT.
